Police finally admit ‘confused man’ who massacred 18-year-old boy in Oss is asylum seeker from Sudan.
The 25-year-old man who is being held for the death of Rik van de Rakt (18) from Heesch this weekend in Oss is an asylum seeker from Sudan. The suspect is a status holder and lives in Heesch. This is according to De Telegraaf.
Van de Rakt was found dead on Sunday morning near his bicycle in Oss at the junction of the Julianasingel by Dr. Saal van Zwanenbergsingel in Oss. Later it turned out that he had been stabbed.
The perpetrator, as shown by camera images, also tried to assault a woman. But she managed to escape the man. The police are still looking for witnesses to both attacks. The police say they have not yet ruled out a terrorist motive.
